WILD LIFE AND VIRGIN FOREST

oBIRDS There are tons of birds from Bald Eagles to Herons and many migratory and other birds are ever-present.

oMARINE MAMMALS The otters are the cutest and are all over the place in our small bays to the open ocean. Humpback and Gray whales as well as Orcas are very common in these waters and sometimes come in our bay. Stellar Sea Lions, Fur Seals and harbor seals are always around.

oWOLVES AND BEARS There are black bears and wolves that seem to not bother anyone and are fun to watch

oFISH Salmon are caught about 5 minutes boat ride away from the dock. If you get out early in the summer you can have your limit by 7:00 AM. There are places about 7 miles off shore that are also good for salmon, rock fish. The summer salmon are generally 15 to 30 lbs with some bigger and the winter springs are under 10 lbs but very good eating. 100 to 200 pound Halibut are not uncommon.

HUGE TREES Are every where some 10 feet in diameter and centuries old. There are plenty of logs floating or on the beaches for fire wood.
